Monty’s Good Burger is the plant-based concept of restaurant vets and creatives who could not imagine a better place to manifest their passion for real, quality food. After wowing omnivorous audiences this spring at festivals and pop-ups, the collective behind Monty’s Good Burger set out to launch restaurants in L.A.’s Koreatown and The Riverside Food Lab in Riverside California.
Featuring artisanal burgers made from locally sourced ingredients, housemade sauces, and the plant-based Impossible™ patty, Monty’s Good Burger creates a hamburger that anyone will enjoy. Beyond delicious, the burgers are an option for carnivores who care about the environment but still want the amazing taste, as Monty’s Good Burgers require 75-80% less environmental resources than animal meat.

Monty’s Good Burger also serves up refreshing fountain or bottled sodas made with pure cane sugar, sparkling housemade lemonade, cookies made by Rocco’s Sweet Shoppe, handcrafted sides, and delicious shakes blended with Klein’s Ice Cream. Burgers feature buns by Bosch Bakery and plant-based cheese and Vegenaise® from Follow Your Heart®, a locally owned, family business for over 30 years.
Monty’s Good Burger was first conceived with the intention to bring a new, refreshing plant-based option to Riverside, California but then grew into a new mission – help change the world! Although created by a talented group of friends from across industries – Erin & Derric Swinfard of Monster Media (a full service design and printing company that is focused on sustainability), and Dirk & Amy Alton of Best Beverage Catering (specializing in quality food offerings at high volume events nationwide) and festival producers/curators Nic Adler and Bill Fold (Eat Drink Vegan, Coachella, Arroyo Seco Weekend, Camp Flog Gnaw)
